CBD

The heart of Singapore's Central Business District (CBD) is flanked by two prominent streets:

Anson Road (links to Robinson Road), and Shenton Way (links to Raffles Quay).

1.

In this bustling area, numerous condos boast coveted amenities like swimming pools and gyms, with a range of apartment options available, from studios to penthouses.

The residences scattered along the two main streets are within a high-density area. A lower-density option will be that on the top right of the map, known as the Marina Bay area.

Much like other urban centers globally, living the high life in the CBD appeals to individuals who relish the vibrancy of city living.

These are people who value the proximity to their workplaces, and perhaps enjoy indulging in a drink or two at nearby establishments before retiring home after a day's work.

Downtown

Orchard Road

Unlike the CBD, Orchard Road is a shopping street. At 1.5km long, it spans across three MRT stations -- Orchard Road, Somerset and Dobhy Ghaut.

There are two main residential areas in Orchard area. The area on the left (1) provides a quieter vibe with a cozy neighbourhood atmosphere, while the area on the right (2) is made up of newer condominiums with contemporary feel.

River Valley Road

& Robertson Quay

If you would like to live in the city but at the same time, appreciate a neighbourhood without the hustling and bustling, consider River Valley Road and Robertson Quay.

These two neighbourhoods are located next to each other, with River Valley Road nearer to Orchard Road, and Robertson Quay nearer to the CBD. Many expatriate families are residing here, so it is a good option if you have kids and prefer a family-friendly environment.
